Here are some things we’d like you to know about us!

Though we often have same-day availability for piercing and/or tattoo services; we operate by appointment.. Please contact us if you’d like in with short notice and we’d be super happy to accommodate a same-day appointment if we’re able to work you in.
When you arrive for your appointment, call us at (812) 437-7737 to inform us of your arrival. Feel free to enjoy our patio space or wait in your car and your artist will shortly greet you outside to welcome you in. Keeping our door closed to the public allows us to maintain a calm, creative atmosphere where we can maximize quality and precision in our work. In this way, our artists can focus entirely on you and your project without having to take tons of breaks speaking with random people coming inside.
If you have a cough or you’re feeling unwell, do not come to the studio. Please call or message your artist directly and immediately so your appointment can be rescheduled.
We recommend arriving well-rested, well-hydrated, sober, and having eaten a large meal within 2 hours of your scheduled appointment time–especially for larger sessions. Feel free to bring along a water bottle and non-messy snacks if you like.
Your comfort is one of our top priorities here. Fox&Crow is often kept a little on the colder side, especially during the summer. Feel free to bring along: a pillow, an extra hoodie, a (reasonably sized) blanket, or even your favorite stuffie if you like!
Remember to bring your state-issued ID/ driver’s license to your appointment along with an additional item with your full name printed on it (such as a debit card, library card, mail, etc). These will both be photocopied with your paperwork to comply with our local Health Department’s regulations. Any sensitive information will be covered on this copy.
We accept: cash, all major credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and we also offer Afterpay. We do not accept money transfer apps like Venmo & Paypal. We offer a cash discount to help offset card processing fees in the form of a small 2.9% discount that is pre-priced into all goods & services. Purchases made with all non-cash options will remove this discount & be listed as a 2.9% charge on your receipt. We realize it may be difficult to have the right amount of cash for prorated hourly-rate services like tattooing. All of the above payment options are equally accepted & appreciated, so please feel free to use whatever is convenient for you! We have no preference.
Please respect your artist by showing up exactly on the time you have scheduled & ensure you have read our Deposit Policy thoroughly (displayed in full during our online booking process). Appointment requests physically cannot be completed unless the “I have read and agree” box to these terms of agreement has been checked. All deposits are non-refundable. Failure to comply with the policy that you have agreed to will result in the loss of deposit, which goes directly to the artist to partially compensate them for their lost time. We try to communicate this clearly to ensure this almost never happens, because otherwise deposits are deducted from your total at the time of service and everyone is super happy.
Our studio is inviting, but not large! We ask that clients bring only themselves for their tattoo appointments to reduce the number of people in our studio at any one time, however, above all we want everyone to have a great experience. If bringing one adult person with you is needed for your comfort, this accommodation can be easily arranged by contacting your artist before your tattoo appointment.
Children under the age of 8 are not allowed into our studio at any time. Piercing services here start from age 8+. All children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times and generally kept seated with their hands to themselves and kept from touching our (often fragile and expensive) decor. We do not tattoo minors.
Fox&Crow is a safe space. Hateful speech, bigotry, aggression, bad attitudes, intoxication, etc., are never tolerated here. Fox&Crow reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Each artist is independent & may refuse to tattoo any design, location, or client for any reason.
